turning 5....

Peyton when you were a newborn, (and not sleeping very well) i remember holding you and saying to Bunny 'i can't wait until he's five.' Bunny quickly came back with 'DONT SAY THAT, it goes so fast Mandy, you will see!' well here we are, youre turning 5 this weekend, and i now understand what my mom was saying. it goes way too fast. Peyton, we have watched you grow into such a handsome young boy in the past 5 years. youre a loving brother and you care so much about everyone you meet. we love you more every day and we are so proud of you....thank you for the happiness you bring to our family every day, and for teaching us to look at life around us. and thank you asking me to sing to you every night, after 5 years i thought you would be tired of it. I'm so glad your not. happy (almost) 5th birthday big boy! i love you and cherish every minute i have with you.... i always have.

rocks were their 'thing' today

so I'm addicted to flowers or anything nature related lately

the bees knees.... err um, toes?

Jayden got stung or bit by something today in the backyard. i feel so bad for him. one minute he was following me around, and the next he was screaming and clinging to me. when i finally calmed him down (and after calling Jason & my Mom). i noticed his second toe on his left foot was swollen, and a few minutes later his foot started to swell. Mom suggested i put ice on it and to watch him to make sure it didnt get worse. (while i was trying to calm Jayden down, Peyton came over to us and showed Jayden a picture he had made on his Etch a Sketch to make him feel better) Peyton is so sweet. i gave both boys an icepop hoping it would cheer Jayden up a little and help me look at his foot a little better. his poor foot has had a rough couple of days.... he stubbed his big toe yesterday and now the toe next to it is swollen. his foot looks a little swollen as well. poor little Jay.thank goodness for icepops! they always help the pain go away a little faster.he seems to be doing better now. he is walking with a little limp and is really tired.... he's napping right now. i will check him again when he wakes up, but i am pretty sure he is ok.

pretty things

i took these pictures last month and never got around to posting them. i have SO MANY more to edit, but today while the boys were napping i thought i would do a few. i love flowers and plants.... im not ready for summer to be over yet.

tooth fairy talk

me: Peyton someday your tooth is going to get wiggly and fall out. Then the tooth fairy will come.
Peyton: And then he will bring me a prize?
me: Yes!
Peyton: like a whistle?
