goodbye 2

Jayden,
tomorrow is your 3rd birthday.... you had a busy last day of 2 today. you started your day playing with George, your new best friend. you had a red icepop, and did some tricks for me.... you jumped off the waterfall, and you took a really good nap.we took one last '2' picture together. and you played and ran around in your diaper. this year is going to be full of new things and youre going to learn so much more. i had a fun last day of two with you! Happy early Birthday little boy. im going to miss you being two.... but i am looking forward to three soo soo much!

so he started potty training himself.

i don't know where it came from but part of me loves it,and part of me is sad we will be done with diapers soon. why do they have to grow up so fast!

taking a break

i am taking a break from blogging for awhile. i am not sure when i will be back. my health has not been good. the time i am not sleeping i am spending with my family. i have stopped taking pictures lately, although i took these two today. my boys are my life, my love, and the reason i am here. i hope and pray for more time with them every day.

Santa was here!

Peyton woke us up around 4:00 this morning and told us he couldnt find his puppy. Jason got up with him, went to his room, found his puppy for him, and tucked him back into bed. When Jason came back i asked him if Peyton had seen anything.... because to get from Peyton's room to our room you have to go through the living room (where Santa had left everything),but amazingly Peyton didnt see anything. I'm guessing because it was dark and he was probably still really tired. so i lay in bed hoping we could all fall back to sleep for awhile. when it got to be about 5:00am Peyton ran into our room screaming 'SANTA WAS HERE, SANTA WAS HERE, HE LEFT PRESENTS HURRY COME ON!'. i started laughing. it was the cutest thing ever! he was so excited! we told Peyton to lay with us in bed because Jayden really needed to sleep a little longer. we turned our television on (knowing there was NO WAY he was going to fall back to sleep) and watched Mr Roger's Neighborhood (i didnt even know that show was still on tv!). i think i fell back to sleep because the next thing i remember is looking at the clock and it was 6:30. i went to get Jayden out of his crib, changed his diaper and took him into our bedroom, then we let both boys run into the living room. Peyton was so surprised! then Jayden came running in after him.both of them ran around and touched everything at least twice, saying 'WOW' over and over.Jayden was so excited about his new scooter. he has been trying and trying to ride Peyton's (it has two wheels) and just cant balance yet. he got right on this one and figured it out right away. an extra bonus.... it's a Buzz Lightyear scooter. he says 'bzzz, bzzz!' and points to him.Peyton LOVED his new horn! (excuse the fuzzy pictures, the boys were running around so much we couldnt keep up). this gas station was a HUGE hit! they love it so much! Peyton said 'Mommy I didn't even ask for a gas station!'.
it was so much fun watching them! Peyton had fun with Jayden's scooter too. they both played with each others toys all morning.
the workbench is great! it came with a lot of things to do. the best part are the pegs that hammer into the workbench. the tools it came with are great as well! EXACTLY what we needed! Peyton and Jayden love it!
after awhile Jayden started just riding his scooter all over the house. 'bye mama!'
here he comes again!it took awhile for the boys to figure out Santa had wrapped a few presents too. Peyton sat in Jayden's wagon and opened one of them. 'WOW!''I wanted one of these!'
both boys got a microphone.
they LOVE them!new puzzles! they are so great for both of them,we have a few already but Santa just couldnt pass up giving them more!
new swords! yes we pretty much got two of everything.... thank you Santa!and something Peyton REALLY needed....new Nikes!more presents to open....and new Buzz Lightyear toys!
table top air hockey!so much fun!Peyton thought it was hysterical to put bows on Jayden....but Jayden didnt think it was quite as funny.the boys found Santa's left over cookies....then just kept playing with all of their toys.it was a busy morning!Peyton had his snack in his new BIG wagon. (by the way, i NEVER let the boys have cookies this early in the morning).then both of them took rides around the house in Jayden's new wagon.wheee! Jayden was saving the cookie on his face as a snack for later.Peyton's turn!after one last ride on his Buzz scooter, Jayden started to get tired.
just one more thing to do.... stockings!then Jayden was ready for lunch and a nap.
after the boys nap, Bunny, Poppy, and Grandpa came over. the boys showed them all of their new toys and somehow talked Bunny into taking them on a wagon ride around the backyard. then apparently it was Peyton's turn to pull. 'choo choo!'Jayden showed them his new Buzz scooter. he was really starting to get the hang of it!
time to stop for some gas at the new gas station!
after playing outside for a little while it was time to come in and open MORE PRESENTS! the boys were just little excited.... these gifts were from Aunt Tracy and Uncle Scott.some new Hot Wheels from Poppy!

Mom and I had a great visit while everyone was here.
Peyton got a new sign for his room from Aunt Tracy and Uncle Scott. Jayden got one as well.... they are sooo soo cute!
new luggage for Grandpa! Jayden and Paw-Paw were sooo tired at the end of the day.
I had such a great time spending Christmas with both of our families! Merry Christmas!
