and Jayden's 2nd.
we make one every year.
i love seeing them in the yard, and the boys love them as well.
boy, n: a noise with dirt on it
and Jayden's 2nd.
we make one every year.
i love seeing them in the yard, and the boys love them as well.
also, when Peyton came home from school the next day he had a bag full of presents for me. they are SO cute. i really do love his school and how much they do with the children. he made me a card. the petals on the flowers are his fingerprints. i love it! i also LOVE his signature.
a bunny and a dragonfly he painted. adorbs!
a beautiful rainbow!
and a letter to me.... which cracks me up. he says im 18! and that i have brown eyes.... they're blue, but that's ok. we always talk about how beautiful his brown eyes are. Jason and Jayden have brown eyes as well. i think maybe he wanted me to match them.
and probably my favorite of them all.... a pot holder. the flower is his hand print. such a cute idea! it will hang in our kitchen forever! (front & back)
this last picture is something we made as a family the beginning of the school year. it was fun to fill out. (Peyton's favorite song of all time is 'On the road again' i wrote Kenny Rogers sings it when it's actually Willie Nelson! woops!) this hung in Peyton's classroom all year. it was nice to see it again.
i keep all of the things he has makes throughout the year (except the crafts that have food on them.... cant imagine what that would be like to see after a few years. i have a storage bin for the school work we save. i did the same thing last year. and will do the same for Jayden when he starts pre-school this fall.one more extra thing i got for Mother's Day was a GREAT set of actions for photoshop. i absolutely LOVE them! it was a nice relaxing day, although i wish i would have felt better so i could have spent more time with all of my guys. hopefully next year!
i hope all of you had a great Mother's Day as well!
hmmm this looks interesting!
Jayden LOVES yellow, although he calls it boo (blue).
Peyton loved all the colors and wanted to touch them all!
who needs a dip stick when you can just USE YOUR HANDS!
Jayden always does things his own way. i LOVE that about him!
Peyton's hands got a little messy.
and Jayden's hands got A LOT messy! 'SEE MAMA!'
they were so careful with the eggs.
they look so great! good job boys!
the next day was Peyton's pre-school Easter party!
Paw-Paw came over to babysit Jayden so I could go to the party with Peyton. (Jayden is still getting carsick.... poor thing). right as I got to Peyton's school they were heading outside for the Easter Egg Hunt. I made it just in time!
and they're off!
there were eggs EVERYWHERE!
i can not believe how big he is now.
where is my 4 year old?
counting his eggs.... and tasting a few jelly beans.
Jack dropped his eggs and Peyton helped him pick them up. Peyton has fun with Jack. they're silly together.
peeking at the goodies in a few of his own eggs.
Easter Class Picture!
snack time!
Peyton wasn't so sure about the cookie.
then it was time for crafts. Peyton and Jack worked together.
finally it was time to go home.... and we had a 4 day weekend coming up! Yay Easter!
he actually got to hammer this time.
he was a little tired,
but did a great job of waiting patiently,
and hammering when he was asked to.
we only worked on one gingerbread house and kept the other to take home and build later. Peyton is obviously a pro at this now.
could he be more comfortable with is foot on the table?
all three of them worked really well together.
Jayden helped put the stickers on as well. such a good helper!
the finished product is SO CUTE! the boys love putting their cars in it.... it also got to be a part of our Christmas village.
the boys are always so good at doing crafts.
they love stickers, markers, crayons and glue....
and can't WAIT until we go on our mini vacation.
