i wasnt sure i would be able to make it to Peyton's last day of school (May 26th), but after talking to Jason we decided i would probably be fine with just attending for about an hour. so we went, it was so great! i sat down a lot, but it was so great seeing Peyton with his friends and playing all of the games at the party.
Peyton's last time leaving the house for school as a four year old. where does the time go?
too cool for school!
i cant believe how fast it went!
such a big boy!
time to party! first they did crafts....
i love the BLUE fish suncatcher! its hanging in our kitchen window now.
then they made ladybugs with sand. SO CUTE!
Jason is such a good helper!
game time!
such good balance!
and finally PINATA TIME! Jason got to hold the pinata while the kids played. first they hit it with a noodle.
GO Peyton!
then with a stick....
Good job Peyton! (his teacher looks so sad about the pinata... they worked so hard on it in class!)
CANDY & PRIZES!
it was such a fun party for everyone!
thank you Ms. Georgie and Mrs. Luther. we will miss you so much!

also, when Peyton came home from school the next day he had a bag full of presents for me. they are SO cute. i really do love his school and how much they do with the children. he made me a card. the petals on the flowers are his fingerprints. i love it! i also LOVE his signature.
a bunny and a dragonfly he painted. adorbs!
a beautiful rainbow!
and a letter to me.... which cracks me up. he says im 18! and that i have brown eyes.... they're blue, but that's ok. we always talk about how beautiful his brown eyes are. Jason and Jayden have brown eyes as well. i think maybe he wanted me to match them.
and probably my favorite of them all.... a pot holder. the flower is his hand print. such a cute idea! it will hang in our kitchen forever! (front & back)
this last picture is something we made as a family the beginning of the school year. it was fun to fill out. (Peyton's favorite song of all time is 'On the road again' i wrote Kenny Rogers sings it when it's actually Willie Nelson! woops!) this hung in Peyton's classroom all year. it was nice to see it again.
i keep all of the things he has makes throughout the year (except the crafts that have food on them.... cant imagine what that would be like to see after a few years. i have a storage bin for the school work we save. i did the same thing last year. and will do the same for Jayden when he starts pre-school this fall.

Jayden always does things his own way. i LOVE that about him!

they were so careful with the eggs.

and they're off!

where is my 4 year old?
Jack dropped his eggs and Peyton helped him pick them up. Peyton has fun with Jack. they're silly together.

then it was time for crafts. Peyton and Jack worked together.
