toy story 3!

we surprised the boys after their naps today by taking them to see Toy Story 3. they were so excited! this was Jayden's first time to see a movie in the theater. Peyton has only seen one before this. both of them wore Toy Story shirts with Buzz & Woody on them.we made it!i think this picture was more fun for me than for them! great movie, great fun! i cried.... a must see!

father's day

we started Father's Day with a few presents and a homemade sign....i love Peyton's people and Jayden's scribbles! then we went to the lake for a little while...we bought Jason & Paw-Paw a fishing trip on Grapevine Lake for Father's Day. they will be going in the next few weeks. we will rent a pontoon boat at Just For Fun at Silver Lake Marina. it should be a fun day for all of us! me and the boys will meet them on the boat later in the afternoon when they are done fishing. we also took the boys to the park which was right on the lake. they had so much fun on the swings. later we had my parents and Paw-Paw over for drinks and swimming. Bunny & Poppy got the boys new floats for the pool. they LOVE them! Jayden had such a hard time with his....but he finally got the hang of it!
Happy Father's Day!

fun in the sun day at pre-school

yes, once again i am late on posting.... i will be doing a lot of catching up on my blog in the next few weeks.

Peyton had his Fun In The Sun Day at pre-school a couple of weeks ago (May 24th). i was unable to attend because of my surgery, but Jason went and took lots of pictures for me. i LOVED going through all of them. they played so many fun water games. this first one the kids lined up in a few different lines and started with a cup of water. they poured the water into each other's cups as they went down their line.... the line with the most water in their last cup won the game. it looked like so much fun!and another one! carrying water on your head without spilling it and pouring it into a bucket. i love how the kids are drenched! it was a hot day, so i bet it felt good! and the best game ever.... duck, duck, sponge goose! could he be happier? at the end of the day they had ice pops.... which Peyton LOVES!

Easter Sunday 2010

the boys woke up to a big surprise this morning.... there were bunny prints on the floor, and on the coffee table, with a big golden egg and carrots with bites marks on them!they were both so excited to find out the Easter Bunny had left 4 presents for them hidden in the house, and an Easter Egg hunt waiting outside. both of them found their Easter baskets, then a few other little things as well. a carrot baseball bat and ball!
they couldn't wait to dig into their Easter baskets....a glider airplane!
a wallet!
a noise maker! (thanks Easter Bunny!)
the Easter bunny also filled the golden egg with two $5 bills.Jayden couldn't wait to play baseball with his new carrot bat, and Peyton couldn't wait to try out his new wallet with his own $5 bill.Jayden loves to copy Peyton.each of them also got a new car for their Zhu Zhu pets.then Daddy made an Easter breakfast....
it was goood goood! then we got dressed and ready for the EASTER EGG HUNT!ready, set, GO!
Peyton ran around and picked up every egg he could find.Jayden found the eggs, opened them, tasted them, then he would throw the eggs back on the ground! Jayden started watching Peyton....
and finally started collecting them in his basket.
how many eggs do you have?
after the egg hunt was over we had the boys sit down for a picture.... how cute are they? then it was time for ANOTHER Easter egg hunt in the backyard!eggs everywhere!good job Peyton!
good job Jayden!
and of course, one more picture for mommy. say CHEESE!the Easter bunny put confetti in some of the eggs.... Fun!
they opened all of their eggs....and had a great morning. later this afternoon Bunny, Poppy, and Paw-Paw came over. it is always so great to see all of them!
Happy Easter!
