graduation day!
Peyton has been wearing his DOC band for about seven weeks. He did so well in it! We are all so proud of him. He slept great, even on the first night with it. I could not be more proud of him. Jason and I were so worried he would have a hard time adjusting to it, but he didn't. I really think it was harder on us than it was on him.

Peyton wore his helmet (DOC band) for 23 hours a day for about 7 weeks. and it is over now! we went to Dallas this morning and met with Amy.
She was as excited as we were. they needed one more mold of Peyton's head. We got to help as they put plaster stuff on his head, they also had to cover his eyes. He was a little scared, but did very well. it was over fast.
Once it was over we got to give him a bath in their big sink. Peyton had so much fun playing in the water! we want one of these little seats for the tub now!
Peyton got a certificate, a ribbon (from us), the mold of his head, and of course his helmet!
He was so happy all day. such a trooper through the whole thing too! Good job Peyton! we are so proud of you!
By the way, insurance never paid for any of this. they said it was cosmetic. We tried to fight it and even had our doctor fight it with us. We had to pay out of pocket ($3000). It was worth it though. Anything to help our baby.
