Halloween

this is the first year in awhile that we have been in Texas for Halloween. we are usually in Florida celebrating with my family. Halloween also happens to be my parent's anniversary. this year we decided we would skip our annual trip to Florida. we had just bought a house, and had a baby. needless to say, we were trying to save a little money buy skipping this year. which was fine. this morning the boys got a few Halloween treats when they woke up.

then we got dressed and i took them to see Jason at work. Peyton had fun wearing his Tigger costume for everyone. i dressed Jayden in his monster costume, but realized it was too warm for him to wear it.so i changed him into his Halloween shirt and shoes. silly boy got tired of me tired of me taking so many pictures! haha! dressed and ready to see Daddy at work!we decided we would take Peyton trick or treating in our neighborhood. before we headed out the door Jason and Peyton were playing on the couch. Peyton, for some reason, decided he would sit on the back of the couch. well he fell flat on his back, backwards off the couch. we were SO freaked out. Peyton cried a lot. we felt horrible for him. once all of us were calm again and we realized Peyton wasn't broken (haha!) we dressed Peyton in his Tigger costume and headed out the door. Peyton doesn't really talk much yet. so we helped with the 'trick or treat' part. Peyton had so much fun walking down the street like a big boy,and getting all of the free candy wasn't so bad either! Jayden just relaxed in the stroller. it was close to his bedtime so he was already in his warm pjs. it was a fun Halloween!
