this morning Peyton decided he wanted to write a letter to Santa. we sat at the kitchen table and he told me what to write, he included a few toys for Jayden as well. we decorated the letter then got dressed to visit Santa at the mall. Peyton was so excited!
we weren't sure if Peyton would want to give Santa his letter. But as soon as Peyton saw him, he walked over to him, gave him the letter, & sat on his lap.
they talked for a few minutes.
Jayden sat with him too, he wasn't so sure about the whole thing, although he loved the candy cane Santa gave him.
when we got home we found a letter from Santa in the kitchen. Peyton was thrilled! i asked him what he and Santa had talked about today. he told me he asked for a kitchen, a bike, & skates.
Jason and i bought a few pictures at the mall today. i am so excited about them. they will hang over the couch in the living room. it has taken us FOREVER to find anything we like. our floors are almost done as well. it is soooo nice to (almost) have the living room finished. we've been here just over a year and we are slowly working on redecorating the house. i want to have the master bedroom painted soon, and we are looking for big boy furniture for Peyton, although we aren't in a hurry. Peyton LOVES his bed and room the way it is.
