party time

it was so cold when we got up this morning! i think it was 34! we turned the fireplace on, and childproofed it. so pretty!
our sad self portrait.
Peyton just HAD to have a picture of us sitting on the arm of the couch. although i love how Jayden got into the picture!
on the days Peyton has pre-school i go through his backpack and get out any notes or little projects he has done that day. (i like to hang them in the kitchen for him to see how proud we are). the other day he had an invitation to a birthday party in his folder. it was from a little girl named Molly who is in Peyton's class. i was really excited for him. he has been to family birthday parties but this was the first one he was invited to by a friend. plus, Peyton talks about Molly all the time. he even says 'molly gosh' when he does something wrong or drops a toy. it's too funny! when i called Molly's mom to tell her Peyton would be coming to the party. her mom told me that Molly talks about Peyton all the time too.

today was the big party! it was held at Jump it Up, a big building with a bunch of jump houses. Peyton was SO excited! we had to wake him early from his nap so he could make it on time.
Jason took Peyton while i stayed home and let Jayden finish his nap. After Jayden woke up i met them at the party place. Peyton was having a ball when i walked in. there were kids everywhere. Jayden had a great time as well. there were smaller climbing areas for him. they had cake and ice cream and got treat bags. it was a really fun party. the parents were nice as well. it was great to see talk to parents from Peyton's pre-school class. i am not sure if Molly invited everyone, but it was really nice of her to invite Peyton.

Peyton & Molly, the birthday girl!
