i don't know when it happened but all of a sudden you seem so grown up. you love playing outside and helping daddy work. you would rather 'work' than play.
you always want a project to do. water plants, helping with the pool, you even like to take the trash out to the curb. you love to ride your tricycle, which by the way, is too small for you now. your knees hit the handlebars. you asked Santa for a new one. i am pretty sure he has it on his list.
you also love riding your four wheeler and even take Jayden for a ride sometimes. you are such a great big brother! about a week ago we watched you help Jayden get off the couch. you were so sweet about it. you put your arms around him and pulled him down so he wouldn't fall. then you turned to us and said 'Jay heavy'. i love you Peyton more than you know.
we are so proud of you for fitting into school so well. i was so worried that it was going to be hard for you. you are one of the younger 3s in your class, and you are also still in speech. so of course, i worry. but yesterday daddy visited your school to peek in the window. he called me and told me how well you were doing. you were going to each station and playing with all of your friends. you helped clean up the toys when centers was over. you even cleaned up toys you didn't play with. when your teacher told your class to sit down for the story, you were the first one to sit in the reading station.
you started a new speech class this week because your other teacher (Mrs. Heidi) had her baby. once again i was worried you wouldn't want to go, or thought it might take a few days to get used to your new teacher. but once she introduced herself to us you were ready to go to class. you turned to me and said 'bye mommy!'. i was so surprised and proud of you. thank you for making me such a proud mom.
by the way youre doing great in speech. you have been going for over a year now. the first year they came to our house and played games with you. once you turned 3 we had to get your hearing tested (which was fine) and you had to take a few tests at the local school district. you did great on your tests, but needed a little help in expressive. now we go to speech at the elementary school thats right behind our house. the other day daddy held you up to look over the fence and asked you what you saw and you said 'i see speech!' so funny because we expected you to say you saw trees and cars.
youre doing a great job Peyton. we couldn't be more proud of you. we love you a lot! thank you for being such a good boy.
