today while i was going through Peyton's backpack i found pre-registration papers to fill out for next year. ugh! is it really time to register him for the 4s class? i got a little nervous when i went to look at the hours for the 4's class. i REALLY like him going just three hours a day, two days a week. well before i started sweating and freaking out. (i am NOT ready for him to go all day yet). i read '2009-2010 4 schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:00am-12:00pm.' then i did a cheer in my head. perfect! our week will just be a little bit busier. i really like having our Friday's to ourselves right now, but one more day of pre-school is great. Jayden will still stay with me. i get one more year with him until he starts pre-school. ugh. i just can't let my mind go there yet. he's still my baby.
a totally different subject, but i have SOO many blog posts sitting my my edit post folder. am i the only one that makes a post then lets it sit for days?
which brings me to this: i have been talking about my new camera just a little. i was SO excited to figure out aperture. i promise, i was proud of myself for figuring that much out. but ugh! i am at a standstill with shutter speed. it drives me crazy. sounded easy enough. more light or less light. duh easy. nope! not so much. how am i supposed to figure out what shutter speed # goes with the right aperture #? geez! basically i am stuck in 'A' mode. or you know, there is always auto when you don't want to kill your brain with numbers!
here are a few pictures i took today in 'S' mode. i have no idea if they are great, average, or just plain blah. but at least they aren't fuzzy or dark like the few pictures i took a couple of days ago. the boys ended up playing behind the trailer so i did the best i could with what they gave me. the ISO on all of these is 200.
1/640
f 5.6
1/500f/5.6

i took the two following pictures in 'A' mode. he's just so cute i had to add these pics as well.
f5.6

and finally, while i rack my brain with #s, enjoy the show. Jayden is getting smarter and bigger by the minute!
