hello

it feels like forever since i have posted, but i think it's only been like a week. i feel so busy all the time. probably because i am, but it's good busy. it's a lot of playing, taking pics, editing, pre-school, speech, playing more, swimming, doing my mk stuff for Katie, laundry, cleaning, paying bills, and taking more pics. a few weeks ago a friend of mine, (anne marie) gave me lightroom and photoshop. it was slow going getting to understand it all, and i am still learning, but it has been the best gift ever! thank you, thank you anne! these are a few of my favorites from the past week. i also have a watermark on my pics now. not that i think anyone wants them, i just like it. although i am thinking of changing the font.

this picture was another quick shot. i barely looked at my settings. he was tickling his feet and laughing. sooo glad i got this one. he's so funny!and sweet Peyton again. our little abercrombie model.and of course their favorite.... icepops. the boys LOVE them, and i love this shot. my boys. if youre ever wondering what it is we are doing in the afternoons, this is pretty much it. swimsuits, icepops, and lots of play.it's funny one day i think i totally have it (my camera, lightroom and photoshop) all figured out, then the next day i am looking at my camera and my editing like i have no idea what i am doing again. i've decided i need (want) an external flash or a speedlight, and a zoom or extension lens. since i'm making a list, maybe even one of these so my battery will last longer with the new speedlight. my birthday is coming up (ugh) so i am hoping i get them then, or before because i have no patience when i really want something. just ask Jason.
