(everytime i read this card it cracks me up. so funny what children say! i promise i don't spend most of my time eating cookies. pink hair & black eyes? haha! i love you Peyton!)this morning while i read my cards, ate a million doughnuts and had my caramel machiato, Jason CLEANED THE HOUSE. it was sooo nice to sit and read my gossip mag while he cleaned and took care of the boys. kind of funny too. Jason said 'i don't know how you deal with them screaming sometimes'. i guess that is one thing mommies just get used to. i didn't even notice it.
after Jayden's morning nap, we got dressed and went out to do some shopping. we also took a family pic, which we never do. this is probably one of the best we have taken. we are all happy, looking at the camera, and standing still!
first, we stopped by home depot and bought outdoor furniture for our new gazebo, then went to southlake town center for a little more shopping,
and to let the boys run around the fountains. (we took Jay's shoes off. he has a hurt toe and his shoes were hurting him.)
they had a great time,
and even made a few wishes.
later, after lunch and naps we went outside to build our new patio furniture, and to swim. it was really hot today.
the boys kept asking to be thrown into the pool.
needless to say it freaked me out a little. looks like it may have freaked Jayden out as well.
we let the boys eat dinner outside.
they had hotdogs and mac & cheese. their favorite!
they thought eating outside was great!
Jayden was obviously starving!
we also ordered some sushi from Lava Grill (my favorite) and brought it home. it was a great mother's day!
hope you had a great one as well!
