Peyton

last week you had your 3 year program/open house at pre-school. you had been practicing your songs for at least two weeks. at first i just thought you were singing because you wanted to, but then i figured out that you were practicing. you sang twinkle, twinkle, little start over and over again. you even did all of the hand movements while you were singing. your teacher had mentioned to me that you had been on stage in the chapel a few times and how excited you were about it. you even got be on stage on your special day.

so the night of the program came. all of us got dressed up and headed to school. in the parking lot we ran into one of your classmates, Jessica. you were both so excited to see eachother! both of you hugged then walked hand in hand into school.you were such a big boy with her. both of you had so much to talk about. i am not sure what it was, but it was great seeing you with her. Jessica's parents were as thrilled as we were to see what good friends you are.we didn't have luck finding seats in the front, so we decided to stand. i actually ended up sitting in the aisle with my flipcam. i don't think anyone cared. there were sooo many cameras and parents trying to get close to their child. it was kind of funny. as the program started they dimmed the lights and started a slideshow. it had pictures throughout the year of you and all of your friends. (once i saw you on screen i teared up like crazy. i can't believe how fast you have grown in just the time you have been in school). when the slideshow was over you walked in with your teacher and your class. you were excited to see us and walked up on stage. then the music started and all of you sang. it was the best program i have ever seen. you did sooo well. bowing after every song and singing and doing your handmotions like you had practiced weeks before. (i tried uploading video of the program, but apparently it was too long. it's adorable. we have watched it at least 5 times. i put it on disk. i am sure we will watch it when you get older).when the program was over it was time to see your room for open house. you had such a great time showing us around, and showing us the things you had made in class. Peyton we are so proud of you, with EVERYTHING you do. you are such a good boy and listen so well. you even say please and thank you all the time. we started a behavior chart for you because you had one 'off' day at speech. (which really wasn't bad at all), but we just wanted you to understand how important it is to do good in school, as well as at home. the behavior chart has gone really great. you are filling up your chart with stickers every day, and you are so proud when you do. you sit at the table with all of your stickers and carefully pick out which one you will put on the chart the day. we love you Peyton. keep up the great work. you are everything to us and we love you so much.
