a hairy situation

a few weeks ago Jason decided to cut his own hair in the backyard. which isn't a big deal because he has done it before. so he got out the mirror and clippers and went away on chopping his hair off. Peyton sat and watched him then started looking at all of the hair on the ground. he didn't have any questions, which surprised me, but apparently he had a plan.i of course had my camera in my hand so i took pictures of him. at first i just thought it was cute that i could see his crack. (i love baby crack. yes i know he's not a baby anymore, but he's MY baby. so his crack is still cute to me). so snappity, snap i took pictures of him. then realized what exactly he was doing. he was putting Jason's hair that fell on the ground onto his legs.
i asked him what he was doing and he told me 'i want to be like daddy'. and just kept rubbing the hair onto his legs until they were covered.then he put some on his eyebrows.... and then i noticed he rubbed some on his chest as well. i was trying not to laugh (or be grossed out) because it was REALLY important to him to have hair 'like daddy's'.
it was so important that he refused to get into the pool for awhile because he knew all of the hair would come off and said 'i want to be like daddy and i have hair all over like him now.' so finally Jason took it into his own hands and threw Peyton into the pool.Peyton wasn't mad, but made Jason throw him in a couple more times.

i am so NOT ready for this boy to have 'hair all over'!
