Chef Mickeys!

a few months ago i made a reservation for a character breakfast at Chef Mickeys. it's located in the Contemporary Resort in Disney. we went last year and had a great time, so i thought going again this year (with Grandpa) would be even better. my mom made the boys chef hats, aprons, and a Chef Mickey t-shirt during the summer. Peyton was so excited to pack them for the character breakfast.

both boys slept great last night and were ready for more fun today. they were SO EXCITED about eating breakfast with Mickey and his friends! outside the resort.... the flowers were so beautiful!we are so glad that Paw-Paw came to Florida with us!the boys had fun picking flowers, although i am sure youre not supposed to.we made it!Jayden was so happy to walk with Paw-Paw.everyone LOVED the boy's chef costumes!being silly while waiting for our table.before they take you to your seat they take pictures of you in front of this HUGE plate and Mickey. you have the option to buy their picture, but since i took my own picture we didnt buy theirs. (saved us about $40!)YAY! time to eat!so much fun!their buffet has EVERYTHING you can want and more! i loved the biscuits and gravy.... the boys loved the pancakes, doughnuts, bananas, cereal and Mickey Mouse shaped waffles the best.each Character stops at each table and spends time taking pictures. Goofy visited us first!then Donald came by!then MICKEY MOUSE!then we had some time for some drinks. Jayden LOVED drinking out of cups with a straw. kind of a big deal for a 2 year old.then Jayden saw someone coming....Minnie Mouse! she gave Peyton a HUGE hug. funny because she gave him a big hug last year as well. Peyton loves her. she gave both of them a kiss.... Jayden wasn't so sure about it. then it was time to party! (they play music and everyone swings their napkins around).even Jayden got into the party. so cute!doughnut face!all of us had such a great time! then finally Goofy came to see us!Jayden wasn't so sure about him either.although Peyton LOVED him and gave him a big hug.at that point Jayden was getting tired.and it was time to go. but not before playing a little.... hey i thought you were tired! bye Chef Mickey's! see you next year! yes, we are definitely going again!
the flowers....just one more for the road.
both boys passed out on the way home (again). once we got home and let the boys rest a little more we went to the pool. Jayden had a ball with Paw-Paw. and had fun holding onto daddy as he walked around the pool.
he also had a great time standing on his shoulders....big boy!
JUMP!Peyton found new friends at the pool.and had a blast going down the water slides with his cousins as well. Jayden even went down the water slides.... with a little help from daddy.
back up the steps for more!James (my nephew) started taking Jayden down the water slide with him. James is SO GOOD with Jayden!Jason supervised the top of the slide. to make sure everyone was being safe. our own personal life guard.yay for Paw-Paw!
to our surprise Lily decided to take her first steps at the pool today!
she was so happy & proud. even with a cookie in her hand! impressive!just one last run through the pool fountains....
then it was time to go to the condo. everyone was getting tired and the sun was starting to go down.all clean and ready to relax!another long fun day....and almost time for bed.
