last year him and his little brother made them on construction paper.
we also have an 'Elf on the Shelf' which from what i have heard, a lot of families are doing now. ours is named 'Elfafin', Peyton got to name him last year. he shows up around Thanksgiving and leaves with Santa on Christmas Eve. Elfafin does mischievous things around our house sometimes which is REALLY fun for the boys. in this picture Elfafin left a note and a pair of long johns in Peyton and Jayden's stockings.
we also make Christmas lists and give them to Santa every year.
and cheese it up with him for the camera.
we set up our advent calendar train ever year,
which is filled with lego pieces!
every year Peyton and Jayden get new pajamas (from Elfafin) on Christmas Eve.
we leave reindeer food outside in the yard! Peyton makes it at pre-school.
it is so exciting for him to do this with Daddy!
a new tradition we started this year is taking a family photo on our annual trip to Florida and using it on our Christmas card.
another tradition we have is making a breakfast casserole the day before Christmas. once you make it, it has to refrigerate over night. on Christmas morning it smells so great cooking in the oven! one last thing we always do, is leave cookies and milk for Santa. as the years go by i am sure our traditions will grow, some will fade, and new ones will be made.I hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas!
