snowy surprise!

i woke up this morning hearing Peyton say 'MOMMY SNOW'. he was SO excited and apparently already played in it with Jason before I got out of bed. i was hoping pre-school would be canceled but it wasn't. i got Peyton dressed and let him play in the backyard for a few minutes before Jayden woke up. he was SO HAPPY!

we ate breakfast then took a few minutes before we had to leave for pre-school to play in the front yard. Jayden had never seen snow before. so funny how he covered his face like it was a blizzard.say SNOW!Jayden still wasn't quite sure about the cold stuff. finally warming up to it....i think i like it!he loved the feel of the snow in his hands. such a happy boy with his pjs, jacket, rainboots and pink milk! we got Peyton off to pre-school in time.... although i was *this* close to letting him stay home to play in the snow some more. which i'm glad i didnt now.... for one, i REALLY love Peyton's pre-school and don't want him missing any days if we don't need to, AND on the way there we noticed the snow had already started to melt.
