apartment life

we told ourselves once we moved into the apartment we would make the best of it. we are hoping we find a house we LOVE soon, but in the meantime we will do what we can to enjoy where we are. Peyton and i do our own thing while Jason is at work. i am still taking Peyton to The Little Gym. it's great to see Peyton play with other kids. my pregnancy is great other than going to the specialist and worrying if our baby is going to be healthy. i am trying to be positive and i pray a lot. i know God is looking after us and has a plan for us and our new baby. i nap every afternoon when Peyton does. he is such a good boy. he has stayed on his schedule throughout moving and the new apartment. i made his room a lot like it was at our house. it's not painted, of course. we don't plan on decorating much at all while we are here. hoping we won't be here that long. i love when i get Peyton up from his nap and he snoozes on the couch with me. we watch Thomas the Train while he is still waking up.we have made the apt look nice and have Peyton's toys organized in the living room for him to play whenever he wants.in the afternoons when Jason comes home from work we play a lot. it is so nice how the weather has been cool enough to have our sliding glass door open. we love playing on the balcony. we put the big baby gate out there, just to be on the safe side. we take lots of walks too. there is a lot of construction going on across the street from our complex. we walk over to the big parking lot in the afternoons and let Peyton look at all of the big machines. he loves them! Jason even lets him sit in them and pretend to drive them, just like Bob the Builder. he loves that show. we have bought him a couple of BTB dvds. as a treat we let him watch them while he eats his dinner. I take Peyton to the park a lot too. it is so nice to get out and play with him. i can't believe how big he is getting. he will be two before we know it!
all in all things are well here. i wish we could find a house, and GET it! we have found a couple but have been outbid or too late on our offers. it is frustrating. Jason doesn't sleep well some nights. i am sure it is because he is stressed. i am sleeping ok, considering everything that is going on. Mom keeps telling us that the right house is out there for us. i hope she is right. and i hope we are in a house we LOVE by the time our new baby gets here. meanwhile i am so in love with Peyton. i am going to miss our time alone together. he is my world. he has been since he was born. i know i will love our new baby too. i just want to enjoy this time i have with my Peyton right now because i know once the baby gets here i will be busy.
