mouse in the house

I took the boys to Old Navy today. I wanted to find some clothes for the boys for our upcoming trip to Florida. They had their Halloween costumes out so I told Peyton he could pick one out. Within just a few seconds.

Peyton- 'mouse, i want to be a mouse mommy'
me- 'are you sure? there are so many other ones. lets look at all of them.'
Peyton- 'no mommy, i want to be a mouse, squeek.' 'try on mommy, try on!'
me- 'ok we can try it on, but are you sure you don't just want to look at the others too?'
Peyton- 'No mommy! mouse! 'squeek, squeek.'

i put the costume on him and sent him to the mirror to show him how cute he looked. he walked around the store squeeek, squeeking. he DID NOT want to take it off to pay for it. it is 100 degrees outside. i really hope it is a little cooler in Florida on Halloween. he is adorable in it. of all the costumes in the world i had no idea that he would pick out a mouse costume. it really is cute on him. i bought one for Jayden too.
if i say 'oh there's a mouse in the house!' Peyton will take his hood (hook as he calls it) off and says 'no mommy, me!'
