Christmas Eve!

this morning Peyton and Jason went to get haircuts then went to the grocery store. while they were gone Jayden took his morning nap and i wrapped some gifts and cleaned up the house. it was really pretty out today so we played outside a lot, we even ate lunch outside. it is supposed to be pretty on Christmas day as well. this afternoon we made Santa some cookies.the boys had so much fun adding sprinkles, (and eating them). Peyton even tasted some of the cookie dough which i tried not to freak out about too much. this evening after the boys had their bath they found elfafin in the Christmas tree again and there were presents for each of us. Peyton and Jayden were so excited. we all got a pair of new pjs.getting a new pair of pjs is going to be one of our traditions on Christmas eve. i got the idea from my sister Meg. she has been doing the same thing with her kids forever. i think my older sister Brook does the same thing. another tradition i want to keep is making cookies as a family for Santa. we really had a good time making them today. we put them on the fireplace with a glass of milk.after Jayden went to bed Jason and Peyton snuck outside to leave reindeer food in the front yard. Peyton made it in pre-school. he was excited to feed Santa's reindeer.the rest of the evening was lots of fun! it always is. we did some last minute Christmas things and were in bed by 10:00. which is late for us and pretty good considering all the stuff we had to do. we are usually in bed by 8:30. we also took a few pictures after Santa had been here. this was before he brought Jayden's four wheeler inside, and before my camera battery decided to stop working.
