Christmas!

we had such a busy day and it was so much fun! the boys could not believe all the toys Santa had brought them. they walked into the living room, then ran to the toys as soon as they saw them. all we heard was 'wow' from both of them. they didn't know what to play with first.Peyton was so excited about his Thomas the Train set. Jayden walked around and touched everything. he loves the kitchen!Peyton couldn't wait to ride his new bike. he rode it around the living room for awhile.Jayden rode his four wheeler around the house as well. he even gave Peyton a ride. Peyton loves the new guitar.both boys got three wrapped presents from Santa.one was an ornament. Peyton got the Polar Express bell.Jayden got cookie monster, big bird, and elmo.one of Peyton's other gifts was a buzz lightyear toy he really wanted when we were in Disney World.Jayden got a little people airplane to go with the airport he got today. each of them also got a game, candyland and chutes & ladders. they were both so excited to get outside and ride their new toys around.we took a break from opening gifts and ate breakfast. i make an egg casserole on the day before Christmas eve every year. it's really good!

Jayden got tired around 8:30 like he usually does. he was looking for his lolly and blankie and was ready for bed. i think this morning he was extra tired. we were so busy! he usually rests in his swing with his sippy cup when he wakes up. he took his morning nap while Peyton played with his toys.when Jayden got up they were both ready to get outside and play! but not before Jayden sat inside the little tikes mountain. he seems to think it is a game of king of the mountain or something. he LOVES to sit in it. silly boy!before we went outside to play we let the boys open their stockings. Peyton couldn't wait to try his new skates. he did really well for his first time. it was fun watching him.Jay had so much fun on his four wheeler. it's the perfect size for him!Peyton did so great on his bike! i can not believe how fast he is growing up and how fast he catches on to things!later in the day we got dressed for Bunny & Poppy to come over and visit.Jayden made some stew while we waited. this kitchen is the cutest thing ever! it makes noises and even has running water. it is so much fun for both of the boys, and me too!we had a great visit with Bunny & Poppy. they only stayed a little while. we sat outside, had some drinks, and watched the boys play while they were here. we are having everyone over on Sunday to do our family Christmas. my brother and my sister in law Chrissy will be here, so will my older sister Brook and her 6 kids. it is going to be crazy! after Bunny & Poppy left we got ready for round two of gifts. we set out the gifts Aunt Tracy, Uncle Scott & Grandpa sent from Illinois. the boys were so excited to open them!we took a few pictures of the boys in front of their presents first.they thought it was fun.then it was time to OPEN! Peyton helped Jay open his first gift.a guitar from Grandpa!Peyton loves it too.a present for Peyton! Aunt Tracy made both boys a scarf. they are really pretty. they sent so many gifts. the boys had so much fun opening everything. Jayden got a little people school bus and truck from Grandpa. a chainsaw for Peyton from Aunt Tracy & Uncle Scott.and a shopping cart too!and a razor scooter. Peyton has been wanting one so much. thank you Aunt Tracy & Uncle Scott!both boys also got loads of such cute clothes from Aunt Tracy, Uncle Scott & Grandpa from The Children's Place. of course i was most excited about the clothes than anyone. we had such a great Christmas and we are looking forward to seeing my family on Sunday.
