pirate party

my sister, (Brook) and her family, just moved back to Tx from Colorado a few days ago and ALREADY had a party at their house. i tell my sister all the time how ADD i think she is. i hope she knows i am kidding. (love you Brook, but srsly YOU JUST MOVED IN THREE DAYS AGO!)

the party was fun and there were sooo many people there. Brook said it was just going to be a few people, so i made one (small) bowl of pasta salad. meanwhile my Mom made the biggest taco salad you have ever seen in your whole entire life. (she must have gotten the 'there are going to be more people than you can count' invitation). and lucky for me Mom's gigantic salad was placed RIGHT NEXT TO my tiny bowl of pasta salad. (thanks Brook!) it was the saddest display of pasta salad EVER.

we stopped by my parent's house before we went to the party. Mom made the CUTEST pirate costumes for the boys. we changed the boys into their costumes and walked over to Brook's new house. (she lives just a few houses down from my parents). the boys had a blast at the party. Peyton loves his cousin Tabby. they played the whole time together. (my Mom made Tabby's pirate costume as well). she did such a great job on all of them. (thank you Mom!) Brook and Dale's new house is really pretty, and we are so happy they are back from CO. Jayden had fun exploring the house, backyard, and all of their toys.by the time we left the boys were starving and really tired. they ate dinner in the car on the way home. nothing like hot dogs and a movie on the way home from a pirate party!
