you will be 2 in less than a month, and as i sit here typing and thinking of all the things there is to say, youre curled up in your bed for your afternoon nap with your favorite blankies and your lolly. your naptime music is playing and your probably in there growing like a weed. youre getting so big everyday. it makes me so sad to see my baby grow into a toddler. slowly but surely your little body will get leaner and your little rolls will be gone. youre even getting to the point where you don't need your morning nap anymore. lately you have been just resting in your crib for about 45 minutes in the morning. youre such a good boy about it. you lay in your crib and hug on your blankies and listen to your music. you pop your head up and look at me when i come in to get you. so funny because i always think youre sleeping until i see you looking at me over the bumper pad. it is crazy how many pictures i take of you everyday. i always heard that you take less pictures of your second child than your first, but for me, i don't think that is true. it's like i am trying to freeze time with my little can of magic hairspray in my camera thinking it will make you stay small forever. 23 mths came way too fast. and it is amazing how far you have come. from that little bed in the nicu, to your bassinet, and now you are almost filling up your whole crib. you were born with only a tiny bit of dark hair and now you have a full head of the blondest whitest hair i have ever seen. i keep thinking we might have to cut it soon, but it is just so cute i can't get myself to do it. you love playing with Peyton and have finally mastered picking on him to the point of making him crazy. you follow him around and copy everything he does, or at least you try. sometimes i even catch Peyton copying what you do. you certainly have your own way of doing things.you want to ride a bike so bad now that it frustrates you so much you cry. you love to swim and play outside. pouring water into cups keeps you busy for hours. you are so quiet and serious about it. your favorite toy right now is Buzz Lightyear. it's actually been your favorite for a couple of months now. i'm thinking we might have a Buzz Lightyear party for your 2nd birthday. it was a great 22mths little Jay! youre a piece of work and we love you so much. thank you for being such a good and fun loving baby.
