you were so excited to see the balloons and Happy Birthday sign this morning.
(i had no idea my speedlight was running low on batteries, but i loved your expressions so i HAD to add these pictures).

you obviously woke up this morning happy as ever, just like every day.... and ready to open some presents!
we let you open one gift before Daddy left for work.
you opened a new pair of swim goggles. your favorite! you really can't seem to own enough of them. 
we went swimming while daddy was at work.
you and Peyton had so much fun in the pool. (as usual).

then we had lunch, and naps. after naptime Daddy came home and it was time for MORE PRESENTS! you and Peyton were so excited!
Peyton even got a couple of gifts as well. it makes for a happier day for everyone.

then finally.... you got a little bored.
but you did SO WELL with waiting.... come on mama!
then you started to go for it,
which honestly.... i don't blame you!
then the real fun started!
you opened a buzz lightyear backpack!
then opened a pair of Buzz Lightyear swimshorts and two Buzz Lightyear shirts! (do you see a theme starting here?)
then you were ready for your big present.... (hmm wonder what it could be!)

Peyton opened a new pair of swim shorts as well, and had to put them on right away. he was also VERY excited about your new Buzz!
you were so excited to show Grandpa your new Buzz, and your new sunglasses (which also have buzz on them. duh.)
your two new favorite things!

it was finally time to get your new swim shorts on and swim. you had fun playing in the pool and watering the flowers. daddy bought a new hose for you for your birthday. it might be your MOST favorite thing. 
you LOVE watering.... even things that don't need water, like wheels from a truck,
or even yourself.... (thank goodness watering babies doesn't make them grow).
then.... it was time for birthday cupcakes.
your party is this weekend, so we will do a cake then. (Buzz Lightyear.... shocker.)
and yup, once again both of you only ate the icing.
and thought it was great to show me your icing tongues....
ahhh boys.
then MORE PRESENTS! these were from Aunt Tracy and Uncle Scott.
both of you got some great clothes and a couple of movies! (thank you Aunt Tracy & Uncle Scott!)
