this was our second trip to GWL and it wont be our last. once again it was worth EVERY PENNY! Peyton was SO EXCITED to get there he could barely stand it. we planned this trip with our good friends Amy, Billy, and their girls. (although Billy got called into work and couldn't make it). so we met Amy, Katie and Sara at Uncle Julio's for an early dinner then headed out to GWL. i didnt take any pictures (shocking I know) of anyone doing the waterslides. i think i even kept my camera in the room. it was fun to relax with Amy and have some girl talk. later in the evening we all went to our rooms to get dry clothes on and get ready for 'story time' in the lobby. we were a little late so we thought we missed out on a good spot to sit. so at first Jason had Peyton on his shoulders.
then as i was looking around i found a spot over to the side.
the boys could see everything,
and LOVED the puppets and the story.
Peyton was looking a little tired after story time.
we found a place to get some dinner.... as well as a place for dessert! Jayden waited patiently in his stroller. getting sooo tired.
we met Amy in her room to visit and to let the boys play with the girls.Peyton and Jayden loved their 'kid cabin' room and bunk beds.
Jayden was getting really tired by that time.
Peyton loved climbing up the bunks.
(we got a luxury king suite knowing we would get a pack and play for Jayden and pull out the couch bed for Peyton). Jayden loved snuggling with Amy.
finally we headed back to our room,
and let the boys watch a movie until they passed out. (we dont ever let the boys fall asleep with the a movie.... but today we made an exception). the boys were passed out within 15 minutes of the movie starting. we moved the cushions and tables around to 'babyproof' the pull-out bed.
as soon as Jayden fell asleep we put him in the pack and play. everyone (except me) slept GREAT! while i was NOT SLEEPING (for some reason i DO NOT KNOW!) i listened to the boys breathe. both Jayden and Peyton called out for me at least once during the night. they were fine.... just rolled over and kept sleeping. it was cute. i lay in bed (awake!) from 1:30 until 5:00am. Peyton woke us up at 6:30 (so apparently i did get a little sleep) and laid with us until 7:30 when Jayden finally woke up. he slept so good in the pack and play. Jason went to Starbucks (there is one in the hotel) and got us coffee.... then we met Amy and the girls for breakfast. then finally we went back to the pool and waterslides for a few more hours. i have ZERO pictures of Peyton but caught a few of Jayden.

there are so many fun things for little ones to do!
Peyton was off with Katie and Sara going down the BIG slides and having a ball. it was SO MUCH FUN for all of us. we will definitely go back! Jayden started getting tired and wanted his lifejacket off. he walked around the pool a little then climbed into his stroller.
i managed to get one picture of the girls and boys together. they have so much fun together!
when we got home we all took a two hour nap.... then started COOKING for Thanksgiving! we were so busy but it was SO much fun!
