Jason bought us an early Christmas present this year. a new Vizio TV for the kitchen. it was SO NICE to be able to cook and watch the parade at the same time.... and apparently watching a fire as well.
i found a recipe online a few days ago for 'stuffin' muffins'. it took some prep time to make them but it was totally worth it. they turned out REALLY good!
finally after the boy's nap the turkey was ready. Peyton was excited to help in the kitchen this year. he also helped with making cornbread and pumpkin bread.... two of his favorites.
this year we had Grandpa, Poppy, Bunny, and my cousin Keith over to eat Thanksgiving dinner.
Peyton and Jayden thought it was great to have their own table. Peyton even said grace for everyone. he was so sweet and a little shy about it. i hung their turkey hands by their table for decoration and put silk leaves on their table as well. they LOVED it!
after dinner we watched more of the Cowboy game and visited for awhile. Jayden loved talking with Bunny,
and (of course) sitting with Paw-Paw.
and trying on Paw-Paw's glasses!
then it was Peyton's turn!
it was great seeing Keith. i feel like we dont seem him and his family enough. they were all in New York because Jayson (his son) was in the Macy's Day Parade.
everyone had a GREAT day! i am so very thankful for my whole family. i love all of you so much!
