the weather forcast today was calling for all the counties to the north of us to get snow and only flurries in our area, so we were looking forward to at least seeing the snow fall if only for a little while. so once the snow started to fall and stick we were more than excited! Peyton had been telling us for the past month: 'It's going to snow when Santa comes.' at the time i told him in Texas it just doesn't snow on Christmas.... but he was insistent about it, so i would just listen and tell him not to be disappointed if it didnt. but Santa came through for him way more than we even expected. the first few hours we stayed inside and watched out the window. I baked some bread and played with the boys while Jason ran to the grocery store. when he came home we were more than ready to get outside and play. Jayden was so surprised when he walked out the front door.

whats going on out here?

it was snowing like crazy for about an hour or two!

it didnt take much time at all for both of them to start eating the snow.

i love how the snowflakes stuck to their eyelashes!

snowflake snacks are the best ever!

we couldn't stop them from eating the snow,

or the ice!

they were both so cute!

after awhile Peyton decided to stick out his tongue and catch the snowflakes as they fell.

and of course Jayden had to try it as well!

too funny!

it was SO COLD.... Peyton was ready to go in, but Jayden wasnt quite ready. no mama....

it was such a perfect way to start our Christmas Eve!

You are such a great photo journalist! You should get paid! I love reading your picture stories! Of course, your little guys are just so adorable that the pictures are fun to look at, but the stories behind them just top it off!
