2009 was great.... and what's a great way to end a great year? PAINTING! first we made snowman feet.....

then the boys made artwork for me.

look at these busy boys!

Jayden worked so hard on his red dots.

and look at the people Peyton painted!

my most favorite blue people EVER!

total cuteness!

for New Years Eve Jason and I planned a night out with our friends Amy and Billy. The boys were going to play at their house with Katie and Sara (Amy & Billy's daughters) while all of us went to dinner. we took a family photo before we left.... i finally got to use my camera remote. next time i will hide it better in my hand. not bad for the first time though. i also got to wear my new Ugg boots.... a Christmas present from Jason. they are sooo comfy! he bought me a pair last year as well.... i am addicted to them now!

yesterday i ran up to Party City and the Dollar Store and bought some New Year hats, noise makers, silly string, and poppers for everyone. once we got to Amy & Billy's we let all of the kids tear into the bag of goodies. they had so much fun going through all of it.

i told Sara and Katie that they could count down to 7:00 or 8:00 for New Years, knowing we would be home way before midnight. Sara, Katie, and Peyton ready to party!

after our YUMMY dinner in Southlake we hung out a little while at Amy and Billy's house. We played the game 'Disney's Scene It'. it was a lot of fun! Jayden loves Amy!

two of my favorite people!

me and Amy.... Happy New Year! ok so we didnt actually stay until midnight. we were home by 10:30 and everyone was in bed shortly after.

the next morning Peyton was so sweet. he came into the living room and said 'Happy New Year' to me. the boys got to open one last Christmas present i had been saving. it was from Mrs. Donley (my sister-in-law's grandmother). the boys were really excited to have one more present to open.

Etch-A-Sketches!

they played with them all morning!

a fun beginning to 2010!

the rest of the morning the boys were GLUED to the Rose Bowl Parade. my favorite parade to watch new years day.

Happy New Year!
