the old and the new

this is the list of my resolutions from last year, copied from my '2009 resolutions' blog post.
1. organize my house, like to the point of we have nothing we don't need.
2. donate clothes and such as
3. finish transferring my online journal over to my blog!
4. finish decorating the playroom
5. paint the master bedroom and maybe even the boy's rooms.
6. upload ALL of my photos to a hosting site. it's been about 5 mths since i have done this so i REALLY need to get back to it
7. put all of our pictures, photo parades, and videos on cds
8. buy a new camera and computer. both are acting weird and it's freaking me out
9. i need to think of more resolutions. i'll be back on this post later.

i did pretty good!
1. my house is not TOTALLY organized.... but it's better than it was last year.
2. i have donated more in the past year than i think i ever have, and i am sure i will again this year.
3. did it!
4. the playroom is not only redecorated, it got repainted about two weeks ago. ceiling, walls, and the beams! i will post a picture soon!
5. DID IT!
6. kinda did it.... we bought an external hard drive, and i DID put most of the pictures and videos on cds. this is a continuous job that i will be working on forever!
7. did it!!
8. check and CHECK! new laptop and new camera! which i love love love!
9. nope didnt do it.

these are my resolutions for 2010:
1. get a mammogram (i turned 40 last year and was told to get one.... and never did, so i WILL this year!)
2. go the dermatologist. (i will follow up on this more later.)
3. work on my photography more.... maybe even doing some free sessions to see if i am cut out for this.
4. enter more photography contests.
5. try new recipes.... and let the boys help more when i cook.
6. start another 365 blog. (i am about two weeks away from finishing my last one!) if you havent seen it, click 'seriously cute 365' up to the right of this post. follow me!
7. get Jayden's first haircut.... this is going to be hard for me.
8. help Jason organize the garage.
9. finish updating our house.... not big projects, just the few things we meant to get done last year.
10. get organized (again)!
that is all for me right now.... if i come up with more i will come back to update mine. while i was making my list i asked Jason what his resolutions were.

this is his list:

2. put radiant barrier in attic.
3. put stone border in front yard.
4. move the mailbox.
5. finish floors!
6. keep truck clean.
7. be more organized overall.
8. work out.
9. see a doctor about shoulder.
10. put more money away for retirement.
11. get Paw-Paw to doctor for hip.
