my little valentines....

i have been waiting for the perfect time and day to do the boys Valentine photo shoot. i had planned on taking their pictures inside with my new backdrop stand, but since the weather was so great i started brainstorming for what we could do outside instead. outdoor pictures are my favorite.... and honestly what I feel I am best at, so what i came up with first was the boys on our old bench. (Jason actually asked me to marry him on this bench). i was so scared it might fall apart when we were moving it across the yard. at our other house it sat in front of our koi pond.... now it sits under our big tree. its been through a lot. i hope it hangs on for a few more years, especially now that i see how great it looks in pictures. the boys did a great job today! we warmed up with just the boys standing on the bench.... (the X & O are from Hobby Lobby. i bought (and painted) them for the boy's Valentine pictures last year). Jason was so great, he knew i was getting frustrated with the sun on Peyton's hair, so he went to the garage and next thing i know he's holding an umbrella over the boys for me. he's such a good assistant!then it was time for the bribery (heart shaped lollipops from the $ section at Target). bribery works so well sometimes! this is one of my favorites....

this is my other favorite.... Peyton is SO HAPPY and look at Jayden's tongue!i thought about getting the wagon out at the last minute. I'm so glad i did, i think they turned out cute, although i forgot to straighten this one in lightroom.Hey Sucker!Happy Valentines Day!
