snow dayz #2! the mester-made snow hill!

when we woke up this morning we were excited to see, not only did the snow stick around all night, it snowed more! Jason and i went in the front yard this morning to check on our trees. our house looked so pretty. (most of these pictures are sooc.... i did not feel like processing all of them, so excuse the dark or crooked ones).we couldn't believe all of the snow on our street. a lot more than yesterday! Texas NEVER gets this much snow.we found one of our big trees laying on Jason's truck. it didn't break or fall, (thank goodness) it was just laying on it. once Jason got all of the snow off of it, it straightened up again.after we ate breakfast and bundled up the boys we went outside to play. our back porch, hot tub, and pool....our snowman was covered! the boys played a little.... then we decided to make them a snow hill so they could sled. they all worked so hard! so cute!building.... and playing a little too.once it was finished the boys were so excited to try it out.yay!Jayden's turn! it was so great watching them sled over and over. every time Jayden got to the bottom he ate snow!once they got comfortable with it, they went down on their stomachs! brave boys!
mmmm more snow! i love how proud they looked on top of their snow hill.Peyton thought it was so funny to see everyone go down. (yes we all tried it.)the boys even went down together a few times.
somehow we got the boys inside for lunch and a nap.... but shortly after we were back outside again. Peyton was so cute helping Jayden. he's such a good big brother.Jayden tried helping mester snowman.
and shoveled a little more snow.
we had two great days of snow.... but honestly Jason and i were glad to see it start to melt. the boys started to get a little sick. and i was REALLY tired of drying the gloves a million times a day. i really need to buy gloves that don't soak up snow. notice the boys hands in this picture, they have sandwich baggies taped over their gloves. sounds horrible but it worked great. their hands stayed dry and WARM!
