i had the boys outside as soon as i could this morning. it was BEAUTIFUL out! as i was cleaning up things in the yard (we have toys ALL OVER
all the time!), i looked over and saw Peyton had a wrench in his hand and was working on his bike. so of course i asked him what he was doing and this was his response.... 'I'm taking my wheels off. I'm going to ride with two wheels. I'm bigger now'. sooo.... i watched him (in amazement) while he unscrewed each wheel and set it aside.

Jayden was right beside him, being his assistant i guess. after Peyton was done he walked his bike over to me and said 'Mommy you help me and I will ride like a big boy". i then told him how hard it is to ride on two wheels and it may take awhile to balance. so i held his bike, he climbed on, we balanced together with his feet on the pedals, then..... i.let.go. and HE DID IT! he not only did it.... he took off like he's done it a hundred times. after Jason got home from work this afternoon we took the boys over to the park so Peyton could have more room to ride. and once again, Peyton took off!

i am so proud of you Peyton, ever since you were a baby you figured out what was important to you, and did it! i love you so much more every day big boy! im so proud of you today and always! the park (ing lot) was so much fun. daddy stayed close to you the whole time. he is so proud of you!

we let Jayden ride his tricycle at the park too. we didn't want him to feel left out. he is getting SO GOOD!

Jason finally let the boys ride across the parking lot by themselves. (of course i was at the other end taking pictures).

Jayden tried so hard to keep up. i was so proud of him!

taking a break with Paw-Paw....

and some fist pumps for a good job!

Jayden hung out with Paw-Paw a little longer.... because Paw-Paw is his bff.

then it was time to follow daddy home. look at Jayden's tongue! i love it!

by the end of the day Peyton was not only riding his bike, he was starting, stopping, and making 'black marks' on the driveway when he stopped. he also took the time to find a pine cone for us.... thank you Peyton! we love you!

and Jayden had a snack on the couch. (good job Jay! we love you bunches!)

Good job today boys! Mommy and Daddy love you a whole bunch and we are SO PROUD of you!
