sold and then some

last week i decided to list my favorite lens on ebay. at first it made me nervous.... but it was the only way i could make sense of buying a new one. so i took a few pictures of it,listed it, and waited. the first few days i had only one watcher and zero bids. but then someone bid and then a few others followed. well the auction ended a few days ago and i just mailed my lens today. buh bye favoritest lens, it's been real!i am very happy with final bid.... but also still a little nervous. i guess i wont really relax about this until i know the buyer receives it, and some positive feedback would be great! so i wait, and in the meantime i have already ordered my new lens, the Nikon 50mm 1.4. I cant wait to get it! unfortunately it wont be here in time to take the boys Easter pictures. which is fine.... i still have my zoom. which i had forgotten how much i love. its soooo great to have when the boys are playing outside. it's also been a great indoor lens as well. hopefully the search for my NEW favorite lens is over. i think with one prime and one zoom i might be pretty set for awhile.... although i do have my eye on the Nikon D700. the one and ONLY camera for me! maybe someday!
